The night before last there was a big thunder and lightning storm. The lights went out a few hours after the big storm started, at around 8pm, and stayed off all night and the next morning. That morning when we woke up, we realized that there was no water as well.
We walked over to the hot water station, where students fill up their thermos and take them to the dorms, and I filled up my Nalgene bottle with hot water and and loose green tea like a true Chinese student. We ate fried bread for breakfast, and then I rode off to school. That evening we still did not have water and we were going pee outside in the bushes and trees just as if we were at Lama. The hot water station was locked, so we couldn't even fill up a bucket of water to flush the toilet. We went out to eat, and had enough boiled and cooled water in the fridge to brush our teeth with and drink, and wash our hands.
Finally, this morning after 24 hours of no water, Ned awoke to the sound water sputtering in the bathroom. We had left the bathroom sink faucet turned on, and when the water came on again, it was spraying out of the faucet. By the time he went downstairs to the bathroom, the sink and floor was covered in water and dirt. Dirty water was coming through the faucets. We spent this morning letting the shower, and our 2 sinks run to get out all the dark, greasy looking bits of dirt. Most of our house is disgusting, from the pile up of dishes in the kitchen, to the dirt covered bathroom, we have our work cut out for us today.

Today I woke and felt pretty good.
Christian knows that getting me out of the house makes me really good.
So often, he stops what he is doing and takes...
