After a 12 hour train ride last night, (partly standing) with Chinese people on all sides of us staring, spitting and coughing, we made it home at half past Midnight. China has this ridiculous rule that you can't buy roundtrip tickets, so we were forced to get tickets when we arrived in Harbin for our return journey. Unfortunatately, there were no sleeper cars left, so we were forced to take the cattle car home.
anyhow, we made it, and I'm thankful to be back in my quiet, sunny home.
here are some priliminary photos of the Harbin Ice and Snow Festival to
sate your thirst, (It was amazing!)
more photos later,
mandy, drinking camel loads of water to rehydrate

sorry you had to stand for all that time on the train. I know how that feels lol I once rode a train from Moscow to Kiev and that took FOREVER!!!!!!
Glad you had fun though. :)
