This is Ricky, one of our new American friends in Tongliao. He is contemplating whether or not to eat a chicken foot. Ned brought them to our Friday night dinner as a joke/showing off. The Chinese love these tasty treats, especially kids. Ricky took a couple bites, but he wasn't so thrilled. I tried one once. I had a student's little brother...age 14 show me how to eat one. While he devoured it, I was shocked that the thing still had toe nails. ekk!

Haha i know it sounds gross, but they arer a big hit in Russia. My grandma always makes em.. lol
Close your eyes and it taste great.
its not so much the taste...its the texture. the day i eat them, is the day i become Chinese. =)
